Introduction:

The eyes represent a window into systemic and spiritual health. They are not only tools of the mind but also a reflection of the soul. Our eyes are made of brain tissue and help us see the light. They both receive and radiate the light.   Vision is the method by which the brain helps us learn to relate to the world.  On a physical level, we all lust for simple acuity.  This lust reflects the need to “get it right”, to “be  perfect”, and only be interested in “ the results.”  Spiritual visual acuity occurs when we are open to blending the physical, mental, and spiritual energies of our being.

Studies show that on a sense level, the first place that we block out information is with our eyes.  When stress of any sort becomes too great, when we no longer feel that we can safely deal with the world, we close down our visual system.  Some will do this by becoming nearsighted, by living in an ongoing state of blur.  Others will close off their peripheral vision and will in that way, close off the immensity of the world.

Edward Whitmont, a Jungian analyst and homeopath, has said that which cannot be digested on an emotional level will make us physically ill.  If we have seen something that causes us stress, and if we cannot work through the context of that vision, to understand and learn from it, then we might well develop a physical vision impairment. On a psycho-emotional level our eyes store our memories and experiences. Our eyes can tell our story, our history.

Traditional Chinese Medicine, Craniosacral Therapy, and Yoga are three systems that stress that our health is determined by how open our energy is.  TCM says as an example, the liver meridian connects to all of our tissues in the eye. When we suffer liver chi stagnation, we may develop macular degeneration—one of most common diseases for vision loss.  So liver and eyes are very connected to each other. Or, if we suffer kidney chi stagnation, we may be more susceptible to cataracts and glaucoma. In Craniosacral Therapy, the cerebral spinal fluid needs to have a flow and rhythm in the brain and spinal chord to keep our energy moving. Lymphatic health and fluid circulation are very connected to health and clarity of our eyes. Yoga teaches us about the mind/body/spirit union.  Where we have disharmony is a place where disease can grow. When our spiritual vision opens we have better insight and this insight can affect our overall physical eyesight.

The study asked the question how does my treatment of vision therapy affect our energy field, our consciousness, and our chakras?  Does vision therapy influence our overall health?

The Method:
I brought six patients together and performed three vision therapy procedures over a period of 4 hours.  To measure their energy fields, I used a technology called EPC (Electro Photon Capture)which is a sophisticated Kirlian Photography Camera.  This photographic camera was able to photograph the auric fields in great detail and transfer the data to a computer software program that could quantify each gland, organ, and systemic function in the body as well as measure the energy field. Using three vision therapy procedures, I was able to measure distinct changes in the chakras using the EPC (GDV) technology. www.korotkov.org & www.gdvusa.org

In our study, we performed three vision therapy processes: 1. Primitive Reflex Therapy, 2. Yoked Prism Therapy, and 3.  Photomedicine (Light Therapy).  Below are descriptions of each process:

1. Primitive Reflex Therapy:
The primitive survival reflexes are very early movement patterns that are controlled by our brainstem (better known as our “survival brain”).  They are automatic movements that begin developing in-utero help provide learning experiences which act as a foundation for more complex movements (crawling, hopping, walking, riding a bike). However, these primitive reflexes should have a limited life span of 6-12 months. If the reflexes linger beyond this period, a conflict occurs between our brainstem (“survival brain”) and our pre-frontal cortex (the place where we perform higher brain function.) I call the pre-frontal cortex our “executive brain function”.   In adults, I have observed the reflexes can re-emerge due to stress, trauma, or emotional blocks. Our visual system is also very connected to this transition from primitive reflexes to pre-frontal cortex. When these reflexes are still present and have not been integrated, our survival brain “runs the show.”   We react to experiences in our life from survival mode instead of from grace.  In the workshop we re-experienced our primitive reflex patterns, to release brainstem function and increase pre-frontal cortex action.  Each person experienced five of the most influential primitive reflexes.

2. Yoked Prism Therapy:
I used 12 prism diopters/flat prism glasses that shift one’s space/time perception in the 6 major directions: North, South, East, West, Earth, and Sky. Each person spent 3 minutes wearing each pair and walking around the room.  I asked each person to be aware of what they saw and how they felt while wearing the prisms.  My theory on the effects of these prisms is that each person was able to experience through their vestibular and cerebellum systems a way to go from disorientation to reorientation.  I also believe that each prism activated different parts of the visual field and made people aware of their total field.  The Yoked Prism Therapy challenged any suppressions or constrictions in one’s consciousness.

3. Photomedicine:

Light Therapy (Color Therapy—Rainbow Method)—The Third Activity in the Study.

Light is a food that affects our health. Using light therapy into the eyes is a powerful way to improve systemic health, our nervous and endocrine systems and our energy field.   Light therapy administered through the eyes has been shown to help oxygenate and balance blood pH.  Light therapy impacts the limbic part of the brain involved with emotions.

The eyes show the vascular system directly.  That is why we can look for diabetes, hypertension, and other circulatory disorders.  If we apply light therapy to the eyes, every 20 minute treatment irradiates 25% blood supply in the body.

In the study, I used my portable light/color machine called The Spectral Illuminator.  We sat next to each other in a group, and I projected the color (with a flash rate of 15 cycles per second) into the person’s eyes from a distance of 30 inches.  I projected all the colors that correlate to the chakras starting with a red and ending with white.  This treatment is called the Rainbow method and is an effective tool to open and balance the chakras.  We viewed the colors as a group, which impacted group’s energy.

Results:
The measurements I was most interested in involved using the EPC (GDV) computer software that calculated the size, alignment and coherence level of the seven chakras. See the enclosed charts of the six participants.

Discussion:
After our three vision therapy processes, I found that all six subjects showed that their chakras were larger and more aligned.  In each case, the seven chakras were more integrated with each other.  Before receiving the vision therapy, all of the participants showed a misalignment of chakras on the physical-emotional level, and more alignment of these chakras after the vision therapy.  In addition before the vision therapy procedures, all the participants showed a lack of balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system according to the chakra alignments.  However, after the vision therapy, all participants showed more balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic balance.  With each participant, the heart chakra’s sympathetic and parasympathetic alignment was stronger.  This chakra was the anchor that helped connect the lower and upper chakras.

I believe the three vision therapy procedures also affected the following aspects of each person:
The Primitive Reflexes Therapy activated the ability to relate to our body in gravity.  Integrating the reflexes also taught us about our ability to center ourselves. The reflexes help us connect to our soul’s path at a very early age. This activity activated the first 3 chakras.

The Yoked Prism Therapy works similar to walking a Medicine Wheel as a way to relate to the six directions.  Walking with the yoked prisms, increased awareness, integration, and honoring  of oneself.

The East direction is beginnings, hope, trust and vision. The West direction is evening, transition, introspection, and dreaming.  The South is the afternoon, idealism, and grace.  The North is night, renewal, and wisdom.

The Earth direction is where we celebrate all the plants and animals and our connection to being grounded.  The Sky is where we celebrate expansion and the connection to the cosmos.

This activity activated chakras 4-6.

The Light Therapy directly affects the perivascular system.  As we irradiate these blood vessels there is a liquid crystal matrix between the blood vessels and the connective tissue around the vessels that transmits electromagnetic energy throughout the entire body. As light enters our eyes and body it coordinates itself through biophotons. These biophotons are a communication system that goes everywhere at the speed of light throughout the body.  Since light includes color, wave frequency, and electromagnetic energy it can travel anywhere in the body as information and energy.

Since matter is imbued with information—light is photons that are the building block of everything in our body. I believe Light/color therapy is part of the health paradigm shift in the 21st century.  Delivering light through the eyes is a great way to improve health.  The light therapy activates all the chakras but especially 6-7.

Chakras and Human Aura:
The human aura has 7 major energy systems called chakras.  The aura is a sphere of light that extends off the body.  The human aura is a growing, alive energy field that extends beyond the physical body.  It is the life extension of our soul. The aura reflects our physical, emotional, and spiritual centers.  Many diseases like cancer first begin in the human auric field.  The human aura is our “health bank account” that we draw from when we are sick. Daily disciplines like Meditation, Yoga, and Qi Gong can improve the auric field.  Exploring daily practices to improve energy flow in the body is a great way for excellent health.  Activating our visual system maybe another way to expand our auric field.

Conclusion:
Using these three vision therapy processes I was able to show through the “EPC (GDV)” technology that people can attain more balance and health in their energy.  Working through the eyes is an undiscovered and effective method to improve our energy and health.  More studies need to be done, and performed for a longer time horizon and with a controlled group.  But, the results using the “EPC (GDV)” technology is encouraging for the future in developing better health and wellness.
